LOGOS
A longtime collaborator and storyteller at heart, A longtime collaborator and storyteller at heart, Shaleen has worked alongside Monique and the MAD team for nearly a decade, supporting MAD’s social media and helping bring their human-centered brand stories to life.

Outside of MAD, she publishes @urbanlifewashpark a community-driven magazine rooted in Denver’s art, culture, and activism. Whether she’s connecting with local creatives, walking Wash Park between school drop-offs, or engaging in a spirited game of mahjong with friends, her work is always grounded in community, curiosity, and care.

MAD’s commitment to people-first storytelling is what makes this partnership feel like home. ♥️

“I met Monique about 15 years ago when our kids were at the same school. She had this electric energy and somehow everyone knew her. Not just because she was a baddie business owner, but because she’s genuinely one of the most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet. She runs a powerhouse like MAD while staying completely grounded. I knew right away I wanted to work with her. It’s been about a decade now, and the fact that so much of the MAD team is still intact says everything.”
A new year, means a new overwhelmingly loud list o A new year, means a new overwhelmingly loud list of trends that “must be watched,” but here’s what we’re paying attention to right now.

There’s a quietly powerful shift in visual culture, yes, and it’s one that isn’t about louder visuals for attention’s sake, but about personality, touch, and presence.

Design makers are leaning into imperfect processes, mixed media, and expression with an approach that feels human because they bear the mark of the hand that made them. This isn’t a quest for trendiness; it’s about finding visual language that feels alive, intentional, and connected to context.

For us, this is worth noting because authentic expression isn’t a momentary style; it’s how brands stay memorable. Strong identities don’t just look good. They feel good.

Balanced. Thoughtful. Resonant.

In a moment where so much is generated, automated, and optimized, intention feels quietly rebellious.

Visual language that carries personality, presence, and human decision-making doesn’t just stand out, it endures.

The work is about creating feeling, not noise.
When emotion leads, brands resonate more deeply, and for longer. Emotion is what moves people to action, making brands memorable.
